Someone just PM’d me the same Q so I’ll paste my reply here:
So far so good! I was surprised as AFTER I bought it I read stuff too, but they moved to a new factory and my trailer has been great. I think I’ve had it 3 years now? I will say they replaced the jockey wheel under warranty as it was very hard to wind up/down, and I worry about how close the mudflap is to the tires on one side but nothing bad has happened yet.
My horse relearned to jump on a trailer again thanks to the spaciousness inside, and thus far horses travel well in it. If I had a do-over I would NOT have got the tiny extra tack trunk so there’d be more space in front of the front legs, but it’s fine. And I added two air vents as the two it came with (one stock, one Flettner vent I ordered) were woefully inadequate (it gets stuffy!) I wish the windows were bigger too - drop downs would be a huge improvement, for ventilation.
I’m also on the fence about the ramp “gates” that feel flimsy - you close them on the outer horse prior to closing the ramp. I know such gates are always flimsy, but have considered trading them for an additional heavy metal divider mounted in roughly the same place, which you can order.
On the whole there’s no other trailer on the market like it, and for my giant horse it was the only solution short of buying a WB sized steel trailer AND buying a huge truck.
