Agree with others to try Hawk, since Trail-Et is no longer around. You could just measure the one feed bag you have to get the specs for what you need, and perhaps this place can help as they seem to stock lots of replacement parts: https://www.horsetraileraccessorystore.com/
Thank you so much. Will do.
I have a 2004 Jetstar and love it. I get it inspected every year and just this year the Trailer place said that there is no reason this trailer can’t go another 15 years or so. I have had great luck with what little I have needed to replace or repair Hawk has fit the bill. https://www.hawktrailers.com/store/
I have the same year New Yorker limited, and I love it. It’s cool, tows well, is solid as a rock, and is just an all-around good trailer. I saw it listed on a FB group 30 minutes after it was posted, called and offered a deposit, and drove 6 hours to pick it up the next day. The lady selling it said she’d had about 30 calls on it. I could probably sell it tomorrow for $7K.
I tow mine with an F-250, sometimes hauling one horse, sometimes two. I don’t notice any difference if I’m towing one or two. I have a WD hitch and anti-sway bars, and that makes a huge difference in the quality of tow.
Enjoy your (hopefully) purchase!
