Try this, see if you can view it…that’s their post about hosting it.
I can see that, thank you. I have noticed if I am looking through an Instagram gallery that after a few photos it tells me to sign in, so was curious if it would do the same. I had no idea Instagram had a live option? Huh.
Maybe I need to bite the bullet and just make an account…
Instagram tells me I have an account but I don’t remember setting it up. Never tried! But it somehow let me in…
Interesting scale of difficulty compared with this year’s Badders course.
I trust Derek to have the challenge in the subtleties, but sure will be interesting to see how the 2 fields compare.
I personally think Mr. Winter has this idea that all eventers have big brass balls, and I am not sure that’s as true as it was in the 80’s.
Em
Kyle Carter is posting a lot of great videos on his personal Facebook page! Def everyone check it out!
I have only been there twice but no rain ever on cross country day (or for the rest of the event for that matter) on those two occasions. This was in the early to mid 2000s, maybe 2003 and 2005 or 2006? I can’t remember for sure but we packed for every kind of weather and were pleasantly surprised.
Thank you for the link!!
(TIC) Where is my HUMAN for scale?? Or four legged puppy friend?? How am I to appreciate the sheer scope of these fences without the eventer equivalent of banana-for-scale?!
Seriously what a stunning series of photos and fences. I had to laugh at the one in the water (15), it’s the width of a dang toothpick!
I have such an appreciation for DdG’s courses. They always look so inviting to ride, even as a smurfette – but the devil is totally in the tiny details with him, which also makes it so rewarding to watch…
Some years ago Lucinda Green described Kentucky as 4* fences on 5* lines
I think the big ditch in front of a narrow jump looks terribly challenging.
so how does instagram work? It keeps changing…
click on the live link and it will start…cannot hear commentary
I couldn’t get audio to work on Instagram but switched to the Kentucky Land Rover Facebook live and that works. No commentary besides who they are and if they are accepted, but I am fine with that.
I can’t wait to find out hahahah
Its supposed to piss rain this weekend. Going to be a good show.
I sent my friend a pic of that one hahaha its soooooo skinny!
The angle brushes in the water…OYVEY
I think they are having some technical difficulty. Honestly, most of us underestimate how tricky it is to get a livestream set up and running to broadcast for an event like this, so I appreciate that we’re able to watch even if the audio isn’t working as expected
Whos insta is showing it?
Hagyard Pharmacy
Thank you!
