Okay, not Saturday, but still the big WEF GP of the week! Sadly (or not so), I will be boarding a cruise this afternoon, so not likely to be able to watch. But then next week we have the Rolex finale GP that should be fantastic!

Does anyone happen to know the story about these girths that look like they have different sections to them on the sides?

I’ve seen them on a couple of horses lately, but I have not heard the rationale for them yet.

I believe that is a torture device for the groom when it’s after 5 on a Sunday after 11 weeks of jumping and she has to spend an hour picking sand out of all those convoluted sections.
