2025 WEF Saturday Night Lights

That was funny. Does he not realize that those jumps just fall right down? Lol.

Plus I was there for the stadium jumping phase at Bruce’s Field. Those jumps were not exactly small.

Speak of the devil. Here he is at Aiken with the not-tiny jumps in the background.

Plus they were still jumping around in the pouring down rain after the horse show on the other side of town had been canceled for the day. Lol.

My trainer is an eventer. She makes me slice every.damn.thing. It’s fantastic, actually, because even my dingbat spooky horse will now jump anything from any angle and not blink an eye. She also makes me jump very, very skinny things- like a barrel standing upright. Yep, just a barrel- no guide rails, no standards.

My two jumpers have been thoroughly eventer-ized- they both will even go up and down banks without launching me. But we’re still not jumping any of those crazy obstacles like the ones pictured above!

My favorite skinny jump demonstration is with the Cadre Noir riders. I like how they even have a ground line that’s hardly more than a foot wide.

He was lucky, that was a doozy.

WOW. Just Wow.

Amazing! Guess that’d teach me to ride a straight line.

It’s a pretty remarkable level of steering ability.

Big track tonight! 4 clears halfway through. Steven Wilde and Georgina Bloomberg are commentators.

Side note: I’m a touch sad there’s no open water since they’re only in the 5*s.

Love Greya! Fantastic win for Kent and great to see Mimi in the top 3!

I was trying to watch two screens at once with the Grand Prix in Wellington and the equitation class in Ocala happening at the same time.

I feel like Jimmy Torano and Shane Sweetnam both probably jumped off their horses and whipped out their phones so they could watch their kids show in Ocala. Lol.

Thanks for including the courses. I’m glad to see a woman as the course designer for the featured class.

I love that the course map shows where the morning and afternoon sun is! I love course design and I think all those little details are so interesting.

I have my personal scorecard ready to go. I like to try and judge along with these classes. My only complaint this year is that it conflicts with the World Cup class at WEC tonight.

I’ve cancelled my CMH membership, so this is what I’m watching tonight, though I like SJ better.

These features on the horses are cute.

I just turned it on. I’m assuming that is Havens Schatt doing the commentary. Does anyone know who the other person is doing it with her?

I missed her name, but I know she’s a judge.

Thanks.

Somebody on the other thread mentioned that it is usually free on the WEC app, so I’m going to try that. If it works, I’ll be watching two screens again this week. Lol.

Wow. Props to this eighth grader for going around the ring so smoothly.

I didn’t see her age, but I was thinking she looked young! Very respectable trip.
