Sadly, no. But he did go to jail and was sentenced to 22 years… for trying to kill a rival.
I heard he’s running for president from jail.
I heard he’s running for president from jail.
Typical.
Oh, if only horses were carnivorous…
All they’d find would be his chaps
And that sharp, pointy, DIY-repaired spur…
He was spotted yesterday in Jackson, WY.
Now that he’s out of the trailer, he seems to be back to regular Cyril things.
He’s posting videos and photos on delay still.
He’s doing rides and taking paths through BLM land that his horses aren’t prepared for.

I’m glad he made note that he’s made a lot of mistakes.
But saying “I will continue to make them” and then restarting his journey in what will be the toughest terrain yet is a mistake you can’t come back from.
Cereal posted a photo on his IG stories and its a selfie of him eating a large beef jerky stick and the caption is “Elk dick for breakfast”. Can you be any more gross dude!!
Such a toolbag.
Do we think numbnuts is going north to Montana via Yellowstone? or do you think he is going to hang a left and go into Idaho via Idaho Falls and then go west /northwest.
Idaho is the way I would go, but we alll know he is a cowboy and would not suprise me on second if he wants to ride through Yellowstone. Hopefully he does something dumb like take a bath in a “hot” spring while he is there.
I know eastern OR is rough and desert like due to the Cascades but I would think he would find people like Ammon Bundy and mooch off of them. Except he is not white so I am not sure if the Bundys would accept him.
How is the snowpack up in the Cascades ?

His lack of self-reflection is breathtaking, isn’t it?

average, California took a lot of our usual snowfall. There should not be any issue with using the trail that parallels I90, though not sure the tunnel is open yet or not.
A trip like the one he is taking is amazing and one would hope that the person would grow from self reflection, walk away with a better sense of who you are as a person; and be a better person because of it. His great grandfather’s vague instructions on the eldest’s son’s quest is lost on him.
This entire ‘journey’ is a waste and Falcon and Pete are paying the price.
if he is smart he will trailer over 22 to Victor then follow the farmland SW towards Pocatello then hook north along 84 plateau. That has him crossing at Umatilla then north through the Columbia valley to I 90.
There is a word that has been co-opted by an online company in the exclamation form. Yahoo.
This used to be used as a noun also. It described the sort of person who couldn’t really ride, but could stay on. A yahoo will jump on a horse, slam the spurs, wave their cowboy hat in the air, while shouting YAHOO!!! as the horse gallops off with him still slamming spurs. And, they keep going like that, not caring about the horse. They actually think that this is riding like a cowboy.
These are the ones that real cowboys, well, let’s use the word “dislike”.
Cereal is a Yahoo.
After the mini cow video, a book I’d ordered came. Buck Brannaman’s “Ranch Roping” Of course, I’ll never be a roper but wanted to maybe take it up as something to do to keep active, or at least just learn about it. One of the first things BB talks about in the book is how important it is to keep the cattle calm. it is vital to do that because when cows are excited and running scared, they are losing weight.
Thinking you have to chase cows down like that is also a yahoo move.
My 2¢

Sure, if he were actually taking that sort of journey. It seems to me that this has devolved into a series of mooching episodes and photo ops.
And he’s not alone with himself, to reflect and learn. He seems to be in near-constant contact with others.
I suspect his current thoughts aren’t on what would be the best route, but on what a fun party town Jackson is. Sigh…
I’ve done clinics with Dave Weaver - one of the first things he discussed was respect for the cattle. We don’t call them names, laugh at them, label them etc. They are our income.
dick = click
posts like this are click bait and positive or negative, it earns money
and that is the point
Tunnel is open, I was just there a couple of weeks ago.
Your Bundy reference was worse than the jerky reference
In my reference to Ammon Bundy mooching off of federal land with his cattle? the same way Ceral is mooching off the kindness of strangers on this trip?

Very good point that he is more and more in areas where it is easier to go forward than it is to go back. There truly are places where you can easily get into trouble that you can’t get yourself out of.
In Texas, for the most part, those areas were behind private land fences. Perhaps saving him from himself to a certain extent.
The first year after I moved to Colorado, I excitedly started going on hikes on mountain trails. By myself, didn’t want to accommodate other people. I was one of those ignorant, heedless tourists. But I did figure out pretty quickly that I needed to take this a lot more seriously or risk getting into serious trouble.
It happens all the time, and as the signs say, no one is obligated to come rescue you. Too bad 2 innocent animals are being dragged into this with him.
I assume, and hope that in any trouble the animals will be able to extricate themselves. They’re animals, after all, with common sense and an indelible sense of self-preservation. Their captor, however…
I, also, was a newcomer to Wyoming (and later, Colorado) and transitioned from heedless, excited tourist/ newcomer to someone who learned how dangerous unforgiving terrain can be. He doesn’t seem to have the mindset or appreciation for nature to pick this up well.
