I agree. Falcon looks pretty bad. His coat is dull, his ribs are visible, his hips seem very angular and he lacks any fat or muscle over his spine. Needless to say, the horse is not getting enough calories. Guess scrounging for some nibbles of prairie grass in between the rocks and sage isn’t enough nourishment. Imagine that.

I think Falcon looks not only skinny but the muscles appear to have some atrophy, wouldnt be surprised at an EPM , Vit E Cushing etc etc etc diagnosis ( if anyone ever bothered to give him vet care)

The Falcon shot made me very sad.
How can anyone look at his condition & not think “Neglect”?
I’m not talking about Cereal, he wouldn’t recognize condition if it shat in his mouth 
But his Good Ol’ Boy pal there… Equally as ignorant re: horses?

I also requested to join the group, but I don’t think I’ll be accepted. I don’t live in an area he will be going through, and the best reason to join I could think of what that I hated him, and felt sorry for the horses. So, @2DogsFarm, I think I’ll just have to watch for your posts. {sigh}

As to your comment, no, I am not a stalker but I understand the confusion. Calling me a cyberstalker is a favorite canard of Cuchullaine O’Reilly of the Long Riders Guild. Cuchullaine (and his now deceased wife Basha) were instantly indignant when I raised questions about their claims of professional achievements, specifically regarding their claims to be long riders (as per their own published criteria) and the collapse of their “World Ride”. I literally just asked questions and the pearl-clutching, indignant vitriol poured forth. My main interest was in their much-promoted “World Ride”, a magnum opus of equestrian travel that they claimed was historically equivalent to men landing on the moon. I kid you not. https://web.archive.org/web/20140111101522/http://theworldride.org/ But these self-proclaimed experts on equestrian travel never published ANY detail about how they would conduct the ride. And relevant to the saga Cyril currently playing out on SM, there is no evidence Cuchullaine did ANY conditioning of himself or his horse before trying to set out, at 56 years of age. The horse he proposed to ride he had purchased, sight (and test ride) unseen and had it shipped to the starting point in France. And the World Ride just disappeared after Cuchullaine fell off the first time trying to mount and the O’Reillys blamed the failure on anonymous, evil “horse whisperers” for abusing their horses.
My point is that Cuchullaine’s own experience is simply not a credible credential for excoriating anyone, even sad Cyril. I bear Cuchullaine no animus beyond what he has earned for wasting the time and taxpayer dollars of the FBI, the Bozeman Police (my fair city) and for distributing a bizarre screed suggesting I am a criminal, hate Christians, support animal abuse, etc. Oh, and the animus Basha, Cuchullaiine’s third wife, deserves (RIP) for writing to my only wife (40 years duration and counting) and declaring to her that I am a psychotic monster ala Jekyll and Hyde. This absurd missive was especially ironic since Basha had been signed up several years before, before the LRG existed, money paid, to join us on an adventure ride through our company, Boojum Expeditions and then she met Cuchullaine and wanted her money back so they could get married. We wished them well and gave her all her money back! Which we were not obligated to do, but did because we are nice people and it was a heart-warming love story.
But I digress. In answer to your confusion about whether I am a cyberstalker or a credible researcher and investigative journalist, I refer you to the FBI final report and if you Google “Ripley Davenport” and “Earl de Blonville” you will find extensive information (and published newspaper articles) exposing those two guys who, are, like Cuchullaine O’Reilly, “faux-explorers”. Let’s hope Cyril’s two horses make it and get sold to someone that takes good care of them.

As smooshable as the nose is, it sits on the face of I’M THE BOSS HERE
The friend who gave him to me (8yrs ago) told me he liked to “go walkabout” when they fed their herd.
He wasn’t herdboss there - 1 of 4 - and they fed in a 3-sided shed in a pasture, from mangers. Horses came in, were haltered & tied by each manger.
Harley (my guy) would take a stroll around the pasture before coming in.
He does the same here.
He’ll walk toward me when I go to the barn, then do a very pointed Driveby & go to his stall.
On.His.Own.Terms. 
He is the Boss of my 3.
He has a pony minion & 2nd in Command.
#3, the mini, listens to noone, but is permitted to share hay in the same stall as Harley.
After he’s released from his own stall, so he doesn’t also stick his nose into Harley’s grain.
Amazingly, Harley permitted this presumption. Probably would still, but mini is now on TC Sr, horse & pony get oats.

Just because there are other lower credibility players involved in commenting on Cereal and each other does not make Cereal more credible. Lots of perfectly rational sane people think Cyril is creating a mess.

I don’t know who you are, and unless you have something of value to add to the current topic of Cereal please refrain from posting about YOUR interactions with other people that are not related to this posting.
Please do not detrail this thread. It is about Cereal and his “journey” with Falcon and Ole Pete.

WADR, I came to the forum about Cyril because I was interested in the story having first learned about it on FB, just as any other participant. Seeing the comment quoting Cuchullaine (and the uncritical presentation of him as an “expert”) I felt that giving context to Cuchullaine’s comments was relevant.
This 2raw2ride string can too easily devolve into a cyber lynching of Cyril (though he may well, virtually, deserve it). Cuchullaine’s comments and his digression into another totally unrelated story from years ago is exactly the kind of rabid speculation and hysteria that a group discussion like this should hope to avoid.
The fact is, many people on this forum, no matter how experienced and concerned are simply operating on “telegraph” facts… news and info passed through several iterations and translations and interpretations. Passing stentorian public judgments on other riders based on hearsay and speculation from his self-declared perch as " the world’s expert on equestrian exploration" is one of Cuchullaine’s signature moves. Just read his Hall of Shame.
So, I take your point and I will start a thread about the World Ride and with that a look at the gap between bombast and reality as relates to the Long Riders Guild. I am not trying to derail anything. In my view, bringing another perspective to the proclamations of someone claiming to be an expert is a reasonable contribution to the discussion. Credentials do matter and Cuchullaine talks one way and has historically acted another. The proof is available online.
Before you drink the Kool-Aid about me being a cyberstalker, read the documented story behind Cuchullaine’s hysterical claims of victimhood and the farce of the World Ride. Five police agencies and two major newspapers (with whom I collaborated over a decade) on articles exposing genuine frauds can’t be wrong. Hoh Tenger, Hurdan Moir! Blue skies and fast horses.
Your writing style (one giant wall of words) makes it very difficult for many of us to read what you write. Paragraphs man, paragraphs.
