Doubt Asshat would invest in boots. Must be the heel bulb deterioration noted by the person who pulled the shoe.
Am I seeing things, or does Pete’s jaw show rubs?
Being dragged in a halter could do that
I blew the images up. I think it is a rub on Pete’s underside of his jaws.
The shadows make it hard to see Falcon’s hooves.
Falcon’s heels likely have a good coating of blucoat.
Yeah but he’s also cagey and invested in his image. The Edies of Grey Gardens had no filter and gave Maylses total access. Cereal is media savvy and will want to dictate the script. He’s oblivious but not open.
Any story to be found IMO is more in the people trying to stop him, the ones that helped him, the reasons he was able to do this to these horses, and whatever happens to these horses next. Not the knucklehead but the ripple effects that went on around him. Just like the Don’t F With Cats mentioned above somewhere, to me.
Yes, like all the local LE who just thought “Let him move to the next county/state, so he’s not my problem!” and the horses continue to be abused.
In a post above: Bleeding heel bulbs. That got to me. I’m so angry at this.
lastest IG story.
I can feel the heat from Falcon’s back legs from here and I am in PA!
Is he wearing boots? Its hard to tell.
I’m not sure what’s going on here, but when I zoom in on the pictures, it looks to me, in the Falcon photo, that he’s using the lead rope as hobbles? Seems I see the lead tied around the left front, and can’t tell about the right.
Is that what he’s doing???
Someone else look and let me know if that is what you see…
You’re right, the lead rope looks to be tied around the left front pastern
O. M. G.
Other than that exclamation, I am currently at a loss for words.
Plus a horse with messed up feet is standing on rocks. My feet hurt just looking at him.
If the horses get a chance to graze without working they will start looking better very quickly. Horses are resilient like that.
That is not going to help the case for intervention. But no one can tell these two hungry horses “don’t get better“.
Maybe there is a story of some kind around how many LE inspectors in how many locations looked at these horses in bad condition, and said ‘it’s not bad enough’?

Not trying to imply in any way that it’s the same, but puts me in mind of the abused foster kids that aren’t removed from care or documented sufficiently, until they die.
Everyone who might have helped sweeps it under the rug for the next in line.
Parallel:
Friend in nursing school on the 7A-4P shift called me pissed as hell because the previous shift had noted Vitals on patient’s chart as: None.
Patient had died on that shift.
@Sparrowette Maybe Nimrod’s idea of tying out?
Wonder what the other end is tied to…
I don’t think he can catch Falcon. In the branding clip Pete is left loose to graze while Falcon is wearing halter and leadrope.
There’s some sort of (tiktok? Insta?) video out there from a rancher he mooched off of. Rancher said that Falcon hated the yahoo, explaining that Falcon would walk away from him, but when he (rancher) went into the pasture, Falcon walked right up to him.
My guess is that Falcon was trying to find salvation. “Please, can I stay here???”
Wonder what the other end is tied to
it sorta looks like it is tied to his own halter
Yes, looks like it’s attached to his halter. The lead rope is on the ground around his other front foot, so that when he lifts his head, the rope sharply pushes his right leg inward. Would anything but a really tired horse accept this?
It’s to prevent Falcon from running in the hobbles. If she can’t lift her head, she can’t run. Horses can move just as fast in hobbles as they can without them. Ask me how I know.
I’m sure someone told him to hobble this way, he’s too stupid to think it up himself.
From what I can see, the rope is only attached to the halter and one front leg, with plenty of slack. The rope appears to be clearly not tied to another leg, just the one front fetlock.
Is this regular/normal?
I don’t understand what’s going on with the lead rope tied to the front leg. If that horse spooks, I can only imagine the damage he could do to himself. Idiot should get a high line and plan stops more carefully.
Is Cereal in the high country? Is he a Frosted Flake? Maybe Honey Bunches of Cr*p? Special K?
I hope this whole nightmare ends soon for these horses. Does anyone know if he has another poor horse victim?
I don’t think he can catch Falcon.
Agree. I believe Falcon has run off, or at least forced Cereal to trudge after him, several times.
I wonder if someone told Cereal to tie Falcon’s lead to his front leg like that, or if Cereal had heard about hobbles and decided to improvise and create his own. Of course, it’s a prime way to potentially maim the poor horse. But as we’ve seen, Cereal is a certifiable idiot lacking any measure of foresight.
Lord, please let this charade be over soon.
I keep checking TT, IG daily and I follow The Mare Stare and Marissa K (I think that is her name) and while I think they are just a bunch of busy-bodies and have nothing better to do (kettle/black as I type this) they seem to have a tap on what is going on.
I have not seen or heard anything about getting another victim/horse to drag around.
It had been said that one of the ladies that helped him (maybe the person that pulled the shoe) had hid this horses from him somewhere on her property; but that was a few days ago and I am not sure any more. but that is hearsay.
I want this journey to end, but I don’t want someone horse-napping. That is not cool. The law has to do it. Horse-napping is going to make him a martyr.
