I think “sound” is a new word he’s learned. He never used it regarding purchasing Falcon or Pete.

I checked the “other” box on both ads, so I was able to explain the recommendations from LE, vet and farrier regarding lameness issues… which seemed to have been ignored. Yet both horses are being advertised as 100% sound.

Go, Girl!
I marked both ads as fraud & sent him a message worthy of his own snarky replies.
Reminded him SM is full of proof of his total lack if care, leading to their present condition.
Said he’d be lucky to get low 4s for either if seen in person & w/o proof of AQHA or TWHBEA registration, neither could be proven to actually be the alleged breed.

ETA:
Marked Other & let site know of his notorious SM presence among knowledgeable horsepeople.

Thank you for all of the screen grabs; I’m not on social media except for Facebook groups, so really appreciate seeing what Cap’n Crunch has been up to. Eye-opening, to say the least. :flushed:

How does flagging ads help the horses?

HIs ad for Pete says he has a lot of energy but yet he had to beat him to get him to walk. My heart breaks for those two who gave and gave and gave until there was no more to give.

I feel that flagging the post get the ads out of the public eye and perhaps he will put them in a position where they are priced correctly and land in safe hands.

I don’t believe he’ll sell them at the ridiculous prices he has set, which leads me to fear that then he’s more likely to just dump them at a low end auction or simply abandon them.

If he’d face reality and price them closer to what they’re worth, and be reasonable in the wording of his ads, I believe he’s then more likely to actually sell them to suitable homes.

The ads grossly misrepresent the horses.

I just spritzed myself! :joy::joy::joy::joy:

I’m happy to see the ad for Pete. When an ad for him wasn’t posted on COTH at the same time as the pinto’s ad, I was afraid that he might have been disposed of in a permanent way.

Well, I was nice. Or nice enough. I actually would consider a sweet, colorful trail horse (at the right price). So I mentioned where I was located and that I would like a video of the horse worked on a circle, either in a round pen or on a lunge line, so I could evaluate the horse’s gaits, behavior and soundness.

The response was, “I don’t think Cyril has such a video. But you can come and try the horse.”

Me: “But I am in ______________, and am not planning on traveling to Montana any time soon. I have purchased horses online. That’s how I found my show horse. But the first step is always a video, produced by the seller. Have you not sold a horse before?”

Crickets.

I do not expect further responses.

 The thought of making a video where he’s not Front & Center has him stymied :exploding_head:

I am surprised he did not send you a link to his IG or his social media. Lots of videos there of the gaited colorful trail horse there; with a sack of potatoes on his back

I’m guessing the request to see the horse worked on a circle, at various gaits, has him perplexed.

And while I love Montana, and have some family there, I’m not driving up on a whim to try a horse that I’ve only seen in crappy photos and video snippets at a meandering walk.

If he truly wants to sell these horses, he needs to put some effort into it.

And now we are on Dreamhorse.com

Notice in this ad, under Horse Skills/Disciplines it has: NONE
 Closest to Truth this turdonastick has come yet!

It wasn’t on Dreamhorse yesterday. I suppose technically it’s not there now, either.

(Edited to add): And I did not flag it. It was gone before I saw it.

Ya’ know, if he would make a simple video, post it on YouTube (Dreamhorse will even provide a direct link in your ad), write an honest description minus the foo and woo BS, and then price the horse realistically, he’d probably sell him.

But this nonsense is so laughable it’s pathetic.

I just hope the two horses are eating well while Dipshit spins his wheels in fantasyland.

That’s the silver lining of this Dipshit bullshit, letting the horses rest and eat for as long as it takes him to either wise up or give up.
