3 Point Hitch

i’m happy to hear that I’m not the only one with choice words for the PTO hookup.
and I have some serious tractor envy with that telescoping 3 point hook up. . .

Me too. I somehow learned bad words simply by trying to connect the PTO. I don’t even know where they came from!

I have found that being lazy and not cleaning/greasing/wire brushing the PTO a couple of times a season always makes it harder. As Bluey says, when it wants to go, it’s like butter. And when not, it’s maddening. But I always kick myself after getting the wire brush and WD40 out and then it connects perfectly.

I also have delta quick hitches which makes connecting the equipment easier but can limit my ability to access the PTO itself to connect it. Pros and cons. These are what I have: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wVbrZKpvRgk

I knew “my” way of hooking up the PTO must not be the normal way, or a way a bigger person does it! I squish my body down inside the mower frame so that I can get a straight shot at the PTO shaft and use all of my body to get that lovely piece of equipment attached.

Those adjustable arm ends look like they make life much easier. I do not have them on my bare bones Kubota L2350, but wish I did! I just try to minimize taking things on/off.
