4Star Trailers - Options: Fans? Quiet Ride?

Thanks for this observation. I did check with my dealer and she said you can still get the two stud gate divider design with Quiet Ride. I’m going to have it added but am going to forego the fans.

I did get the double stud gate in the Quiet Ride. I can see if it was a single that the escape door could be a problem. Taking mine for first test tow this weekend!

Aw rats. I guess I should have gone custom then. All the ones in stock at a dealer that I saw with QR had the single door. Also wish I’d had another $5k or so to spend

I had my 4Star made in 2014/2015 and honestly never considered getting the fans. I haul year round in Texas and for my horses the drop windows on front and back plus the ceiling vents provide plenty of air movement. I hauled a horse from Montana to Texas last September and he didn’t get hot at all. I also don’t recall the Quiet Ride being an option, so my trailer has them. It is a 4 horse slant and has a stud door on the first stall. I do think it makes a difference. I have ridden in a Featherlite with the pin close doors and they are very rattly. The WERM flooring is AMAZING! I can’t imagine my life without it now. I had them put rubber flooring in my dressing room rather than the standard carpet. It is way easier to keep clean. I dearly love my 4Star!

I have an older 4Star, about 15 years old. It is insulated and has the fans. I’ve never had a hot horse in it. I was doing a lot of cross country hauling, and the fans and insulation were great when I got stuck in traffic on hot days. The battery is a great idea although I never needed them when the truck wasn’t running.
