Great news that your kitten is better! Keep doing what you’re doing, and be sure to complete the 10-day course of Flagyl. It tastes nasty and the little guy won’t love you for it, but it really is the magic elixir.
It is a quarter of a tiny tablet. I gently scruff him, open his mouth drop the pill back, release a bit of the scruff, then slowly syringe a bit of water so as long as he swallows the pill with the water, he doesn’t seem to mind. Once I didn’t get the pill back enough and he could taste it and he hated me for 10 seconds.
So glad you have the pills. The liquid is gawd awful on them. Wedgewood compounds it into tiny tabs so even wee bitties can have the pills.
My preference is to coat the pill–just barely cover it–in a piece of pill pocket. Slides down easier, and if they do taste anything, it’s yummy. Makes things so much easier!

Update: Osbourne is fat sassy runs like a mad man and all of the cats are getting along well although he goes up at night so we ALL can sleep. It would not surprise me is he is at least 50% heavier. last day of flagyl is tomorrow I will continue Forti Flora 2 more days then see what happens when we stop. We have a followup thursday.
