Oh yeah, Ideayoda…there was the day we ran up on the wild pigs and all hockey pucks broke loose…dogs and horses flying everywhere and a pig got it in the ruckus…glad I had some bit in her mouth that day…
There are just some times when “on the aids” isn’t exactly the priority. I can honestly say that I’ve never heard anyone before, during or after a hunt use the phase “on the aids”…cheese on a cracker…loosen up.

To OP - full bridle or something with two reins (in each hand)and you will be fine!
