A Happy Exchange - What to do with horse poo consuming canine

Wild canids (wolves, coyotes, etc.) get a significant part of their diet from eating the undigested material (grass, grain) in herbivore (deer, etc.) droppings.

So what your dogs are doing is perfectly normal, however disgusting we think it is.

Per advice of vet, I sprinkled “Accent” or MSG on my retriever’s poop. Don’t know why, but it worked.

I have a cat like that! She will dig in the litter, then on the walls and the floor. She digs around her food and water dishes until she manages to dump them onto the floor too. What an annoying sound (and mess)!
