It’s fine with a round bale. I have to put one on the short square air fern QH is the winter because he will stand at the round bale feeder and stuff himself into morbid obesity.

Yes, I have put a grazing muzzle on a horse in January.

Other people in this situation might use a small hole hay net; but I try to keep my horse keeping low maintenance, so we put out round bales in a hay hut.

GG muzzle works fine to change his hay intake from high powered vacuuming to a light trickle.

Thanks. We have 2 hay corrals and they stand there most of the day in the winter.

Okay next question. Where is the best place to buy one? I saw it on one website but they also sold sneakers and had a 60% rating but it was only $119 another website had it for $249.

What kind of waterer do you have? Just a caution, the GG won’t fit in my smaller size Nelsons. Bummer because they look nice! The Best Friends fit, barely.

My mare did not get rubs, but she did manage to break it rubbing on her stall door. GG replaced it, which is nice but I’m wondering when she’ll try rubbing it again…
