Accident prone/naughty dog - a WTF!!! Vent (and maybe some advice)
She had a blood work up yesterday before getting sedated and stiched up from her wound. If she had cushings, wouldn’t they have seen it then? Or no?
Not seen by anything on typical lab work. Would have to do more specific testing such as a Low Dose Dex suppression (cheaper option) or ACTH Stim (gold standard, but more $$). There would be other symptoms most likely such as drinking a lot more than usual (which is hard to notice really), and body shape changes (which my dog did not have).

The only reason I had her tested was because her adrenal glands were enormous when she was used for an ultrasound practice lab, which is consistent with the disease. Did a LDDS done and she was very very cushingoid. Which sucks. I hope your dog is just a bad dog! Just putting in a different perspective from my personal experience.

How does she keep getting out to impale herself on sticks, fight woodchucks, and get into neighbors’ trash?
