Adequan Experience!

My 14 yr. old mare is a former reiner and now my competitive ranch riding horse. She’d been routinely on Adequan before I bought her. Her PPE xrays, for a teenaged horse that had a lot of reining and cow work miles, were unremarkable, including her hocks. I think the Adequan was used preventively, before major arthritic changes or joint damage took place. So after buying her I decided to maintain the status quo. It’s spendy, but I’m not ready to stop using it to determine how’d she do without it.

I will say that in the weeks following the annual loading dose, she truly seems to be the most expressive at the extended trot and through her flying changes. But it could just be me and the notorious placebo effect, hoping my money was well spent!
