Adventures with silicon breeches

I love the silicone- so much cooler than leather full seats and goes right in the washer dryer- easy peasy. I have full fleeces on my saddles- so the silicone gives a little stick but not a ton.

However, they stick to vinyl seats like my truck seat or my office chair like glue. It totally wasn’t me who fell out my office chair to slide out of it, nope… lol

Yup, my biggest gripe. I get to the barn, slide out of my truck and take the seat cover with me.

My biggest issue is getting in to the car, and getting jolted when I aim to slide down onto the seat and just get stuck on the back instead

I, too, ride in the Kerrits breeches. When they are new, they are a bit over-sticky, even making noise when I post, but a few washes and trips through the dryer takes care of that. They do leave little carrot patterns on the leather, but they don’t stay.

It’s funny, they seem stickier on my leather car seats than they do on my leather saddle.

I can’t stand the silicon. Bought a pair after I’d been riding in plain old leggings/jeans for years after growing out of my teenage breeches…at first thought they were great, until I realised that minor leg adjustments couldn’t be made without lifting my whole leg off the saddle. I live in a hot climate and wanted the convenience of thigh pockets for my phone so I went out and bought…more cheap gym leggings, this time with pockets.
