Affordable mud control for **small** area

I forgot to take pictures in progress but it was super easy to get them in. Dig a little, set the pitch and height, fabric underneath, set them in, and fill! This gate area took 8, 2 rows of 4.

Awesome. Look forward to updates.

That looks awesome. You are inspiring to pull my mats and actually fix the issue correctly. :joy:

this is small enough why not just put down some rubber matts? I do this often in my stalls under the feeders or at the entrance to my walker, just build a frame out of 4x6 lumber on edge, set it a bit above grade, I like to use pretty heavy galvanized corner and a couple of stakes. Fill the frame with gravel then sand, level it out and screw the mats down to the wood. you may have to unscrew the mats top off the fill in the frame but that works really well for me.

I have used the NDS permiable pavers, they are 2x2 so you would only need 12, they are easy to find at landscaping supply stores, at least by me they dont charge shipping for them and they are cheaper than online but again I would go with the mats for that sized area,

Because I already did the grids.

I like what you did as the rain will just be absorbed into the soil, mats or pavers would be slippery

I’m hopeful this was the once-and-done fix the area needed.
