I also have a dog, and multiple cats. I feed the kitties in 24" wire crates, and it’s a total game changer. The cats are more focused on eating, they each get their own meal, and the dog doesn’t get any…and I don’t have to stand guard. It works REALLY well. Highly recommend, if you’re interested in an alternative to babysitting

hyperthyroidism causes cats to throw up their food.- although your cat is probably too young for that diagnosis., but thought I would mention it.
