Yes it does depend on what level you are looking to attract, are you talking about people who maybe either just want a tune up or looking to get a few miles and save some money by doing these shows instead of an A show, or a schooling show that attracts kids, beginners, and more lesson barn types? Depending on which will depend on what you offer. I know a place that offers both and some people cross over, but not many the few that do are the ones who live where the show is hosted. At the schooling shows it starts at W/T and moves up from there, with open divisions and ones for 12 and under until 2’3" I think, so there is a W/T division for under 12 then a W/T open to everyone. This helps the beginner younger kids and older, that way an adult can get started without having to show against the young kids. The other shows are sort of a mini rated show, same class names, just a little smaller. I can’t remember what exactly they have done for prizes, but I know the schooling show series has given out some good prizes, saddle pads etc and year end ribbons.
