Andreas Helgstrand's Company owns Chronicle of the Horse

Very interesting. Although I just saw a video on Facebook or somewhere of regular roombas having bad interactions with house pets. So I would be a little concerned about any barn cats or whatever in the vicinity.

HA! Someone beat me to it. The first time I saw a robot feed pusher in a dairy barn, I wanted to win a giant lottery and have someone do a version for harrowing.

To answer your question - yes, that shouldn’t be a problem. It would either alter its path or stop until someone with a remote guided it back home. For the person asking about cats/dogs - should not be a problem. This type of robot is made to NOT run over the farmer’s toddlers who are doubtless playing in the feed alley after they’ve been told to “stay clean.”

I’m wondering if the day will come when the high end horse show venues can just program the drag Roomba to go around the ring at the end of the day so it’s ready to go in the morning.

I’m also picturing the reaction of the jump crew when they get there the next morning and find out that the Roomba knocked down the whole course so they have to build it all over again. Lol.

Absolutely, if the money is there to support further development.
