And then there was the Helen Voorhees Brach murder that is “unsolved” although authorities believe it’s all part of the horse killing scandal

The discussion of the show jumping horse murders and Helen Vorhees Brach led me down a wikipedia rabbit hole and reading about Silas Jayne and how awful a person he was, along with a mention of his great-nephew Charlie Jayne having been an alternate for a US Olympic team.

And then I went to the WIHS tonight with friends and we parked right next to Charlie Jayne’s trailer. Which was entirely coincidental but I wouldn’t have recognized his name earlier this week…
