I think that would look really odd. There is a girl that I follow on Instagram that rides with a bright blue helmet: https://encrypted-tbn2.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcRJQ0dcDt-KY5a9EfnO5DWKdHY9OamjecSVDPa8G_GwgcuFyPuMzQ. Every time I see it I crinkle my nose a bit, it just looks so out of place compared to the traditional black. I do, however, like some of the dark blue helmets that are popping up, especially when paired with a dark blue hunt coat or shad.
Itās difficult to tell how it would really look without a photo of a person wearing it while on a horse, close up and from a distance. Itās definitely different. The brown trim might negate the bald/pimple look. No photos of it in use?
No. Also, using the word āprovocativeā is a little off kilter.
Iām going to hold out for the version with plastic hair.

I would put that on, ride one horse, take it off, and it would be smudged with all sorts of other colors. Not for me. (And not at that price. )
NoSuchP-- OMG thatās horrifying-!
I think the pimple reference is very apt.
On the right horse, with the right rider and other clothes, I think it could be stunning. Or a colossal no.
I want to see it on someone riding before i make a decision.
I like it (I have a Troxel Sierra thatās in tans and browns) but it would probably cost more than my horse did. Also, I can just imagine how dirty it would getā¦
For a āstarā male rider who happened to be totally bald, it could be a cool signature - youād know who was up immediately from however far away. Iām not sure heās totally bald yet but Steffen Peters comes to mind and heās wearing helmets now, right? The dressage world would faint dead away.
LOL! That would be amazing to see in the dressage ring. Yeah, I believe he converted to helmets.
I think itās ugly. And it would likely look even worse with horse dirt on it.
