I know this question has so many variables but what would a garden variety surgery cost ~ + -. I’m mostly just frustrated with what life has dealt me recently and now this. I am having the horse re x-rayed in the morning and hopefully get a better idea of this issue. But theres no doubt its fractured its just trying to find a fix for him. Any info good or bad I’d love to hear. TIA
Check the vet school at UF. The experts are there and the costs less expensive

I know lots of good work at that vet school. I’ve always used UGA in my state. The professors are great surgeons

Yes!! its been a whirlwind the last 2 months! And I tore my Achilles tendon while at too!! My life has not been boring ! But the positive is my brother seems to be doing as expected with the transplant so all else is minor. The horse is now gotta get fixed LOL
I just got an estimate for this from Colorado State University as I have a gelding who needs the surgery. My estimate was $12,000 - $14,000.
The estimate I got last week was 12,000 - 14,000.
