Any new studies on the efficacy of IV Legend or IM Adequan?

I use Legend as a treatment. Not as a preventative. I feel like most posters on here do the same. I know what the issues are in my horse. He’s 17 and he feels better and moves better after Legend. That’s why I use it.

I’m still very curious how Legend iv can possibly cost $50 a month including a vet charge. About the cheapest you can find Legend for is $80 or so a dose on a good day. I would ask specifically what is being given just to be certain. There was an FDA approved generic Legend called NexHA that came out a few years ago but it was on constant mfctr back order and I was never able to try it. There are a few other HA products people use that they consider generic Legend as well, such as Map 5. If you end up going down this road, I’d look into specifically what is being given because the price doesn’t add up.
