I have the Cashel one. I’ve never used the front part of it, only the “quarter sheet” portion. It’s worked fine for us hacking around in the buggy season–I may need to break it out soon, with how buggy it’s been this year, except I’m worried it would end up covered in cicadas instead!
I have the Amigo Fly Rider and find it helps a lot on horses sensitive to bugs.
It can be a bit hot in really warm weather, but that’s my only complaint.

I’ve seen pics from the late 19th/early 20th centuries of mules & draft horses wearing what look like full body mosquiteros while working fields. Have often wondered why such protection is no longer a thing .
