two corgis, both swim. One swims after sticks a lot, the other mainly goes in when he needs to refresh a bit. we have a 3 1/4 acre pond in our backyard and they will frequently go into it and come back black with pond mud.
They also enjoy going out on my husband’s boat down at the coast. I have to watch the younger one on it though, he has no common sense at all.
Now walking is a different story. My corgis don’t like to go on walks unless it’s loose out in the woods. and even then if they are In A Mood, they go on strike.
