AP's first foal

Is this colt blind in his left eye, or it just the lighting/angle? And my terrible eyesight?
(yes, eye surgery is next on the list: insurance has frigged me up.)

I rode a TB that was transitioned off the track after being breezed twice as a 2 yr old. Big, strong Storm Cat grandson sold for almost $1 million and went to Todd Pletcher. The guy just wouldn’t run … Basically stayed with his buddies but no desire to really go. He was placed with a good eventing trainer with connections to Pletcher and wound up as a very nice hunter/jumper. Horse loved to jump.
so it doesn’t surprise me his owner/trainer let him go early. Kudos to them.

In the conformation picture, his forelock is hanging over his eye. You can see the eye (which is fine) much better in the headshot farther down in the article.

That picture really isn’t a good one from which to judge the horse’s conformation. He would look a lot better if he was posed correctly.
