I bump up old threads like the one for tea etc. What’s the big deal?
I actually let all memberships expire last year because I was not showing. I have not decided what I will do this year if my horse is show ready.

I’m fortunate where I am that we have a couple of really good local show series. It’s the same facility, same people and horses and same jumps as the rateds. So I can go have fun and not have to pay all the insane fees and charges that end up costing more than my actual classes . I know others aren’t so fortunate

I have multi-year memberships, but I’m not really all that interested in showing anymore. It’s too expensive and not fun (too much work and my friends don’t show). There are really no incentives for it, especially when you see obvious signs of distress being ignored in favor of expression. I don’t want to ride that way, so I don’t want to be judged that way…my money is better spent on my trainer.
