Ariat overload

I’m talking about the paddock boots only. In the footbed. If you take the insole out and stand on it anyone with actual wide feet will hang over the sides 1-2" . And people with buinions too. Then we would suggest men’s instead, which are a lot wider or a different brand. I had the same problem with grand prix boots back I’m the day. People with narrower feet love them though.

I find the blundstones feel too wide when I buy them but then mold to my feet. The ariats feel ok but I inevitably blow out the seam nearest the toe or tear the leather there within 6 months.

The Devon VX paddock boots are cut wider through the toe box and last than the other models.

I got the Ariat lace up paddock boots - expensive ones many years ago. I wore them almost exclusively for years and didn’t take particularly good care of them. They lasted about 5-6 years before they started falling apart.
So I gladly replaced them with the same boot about 2 years ago. Well, I didn’t wear these as often since I had tall boots that I rode in alot. And now it’s just over 2 years ago and the leather is failing apart in a couple of spots and one of the seams (by the little toe) has come undone. They were over $200.
Never again Ariat paddock boots.

Double post

I used to wear Ariats and before that Blundstones. My go-to paddock boots are now Dublin. Waterproof, wear well and are comfortable.
