ASPCA Maclay Finals

Susie Schoellkopf

I only had a little while to watch a few rounds. Not worth the price of admission for the time I had today.

I look forward to seeing highlights.

Loved Kaitlyn Lovingfoss and Caracas is a miracle horse. Go West Coast!

I like how the default trainer for kids who didn’t turn in their bio sheets is now Susie.

i receive an access denied message when I login with Facebook or google. Am I doing something wrong?

Say what you will about Susie, but for my money, Jimmy is a national treasure. I would listen to his commentary on my mom’s grocery list.

I agree!

I think one of the things to take away from the cometary is the preferences of each person. Jimmy is a stickler for stirrup placement and Susie is a stickler for the release. You never know what the sticklers are for the ones judging you.

I love Jimmy and appreciate he usually can find something positive to say, whether about the horse or rider or trainer or even just one nice jump or distance.

Surprised to see Tanner and Ellei up so high, especially with Elli’s swap off the ground at 2. I thought Alexandra P’s round deserved to be higher, but I only watched about 20 rounds after the first drag break.

Beautiful ride by Emma Kurtz. Really impressed that it’s the first time she’s showing that horse.

I agree that was a beautiful ride by Emma. Does anyone know the name of the horse she rode?

Carl, owned by Dr Betsee P.

She was not riding Carl today because he felt off in the warm up yesterday. Jimmy said it was the first time she’d ever sat on whomever she did ride.

I think I just heard that Hannah Hoch (132) should be in 21st position in the callback. Anyone else hear that?

Yeah, that’s what I heard too.

Emma was stunning. I missed Sam Walker’s round as I am in California and couldn’t quite make the 4:00am PST start time :).

Ah, now we’ve gone to ā€œKIDS THESE DAYS grumble grumble grumbleā€ for the commentary.
