Ah, my good friend She has made me MANY custom mohairs, both western and english styles, including one for short billet saddles that my request exceeded the capacity of her loom. We opted to do a 48" set on round flat rings, and I added “humane” ends with stainless roller buckles. My soft-skinned stallion LOVES his special girths, and the mohair wicks sweat, and does NOT hold heat (the main issue with galling IMHO) as solid leather and the synthetics of any stripe are prone to do. Her pricing is more reasonable than the “high end” leathers…
