We have a Honda Rancher to pull a swisher mower, the arena drag, etc. We had a small plow for it but that wasn’t much good… we traded that in for a 5’ snowblower for the big tractor! We picked it up used a few years ago, and yes, you have to be ready to purchase and watching the classifieds, because they sell fast.

I’ve used the plow to level my arena, push brush into a pile, push the manure around - it’s so much more useful than just in the winter LOL.
My John Deere mower has a Kawasaki engine. The mower fell apart before the engine did (it’s decades old). I would definitely consider those too.
I have heard the same thing about the Honda engine (the other parts will fail first).
