Aussie saddles for work

That was not our experience and I found them to be completely accurate. My husband rides in an 18" western and a 20" aussie, which is what we got last week and it fits him perfectly.

WarDance - if what you want is the English rigging then the Equitation Endurance “might” be the only Tucker model for you… on some of their saddle models you do have options for rigging (Western or CenterFire cinch or English girth) but you’d have to check on their website to see which ones come with English as an option. I know you don’t want to buy new but that would at least tell you what models to be looking for used. I have seen used Equitation Endurance in the past - it just depends on how long you can search before you need to buy. Good luck…

Duh, wait a minute. Couldn’t you buy the Western to English rigging converters and then use an English girth? I know I’ve seen those in the catalogs. You may still want to wait but if you find a saddle that’s perfect except for the rigging style that may be an option.

That’s a good idea and I looked at those converters when we were shopping for my husband as I didn’t want to be buying new girths in addition to everything else.
