Can someone point me to the “Trailers USA” post? I can’t find it. I’m researching getting a 100% custom built trailer from them…
I’m in FL too, and it definitely helps to leave those top doors open. I always leave them open and I’ve never had any issues, but my trailer (an Eclipse) has very secure latches to hold the doors open. I’ve seen some other trailers where just a tiny little latch held them open which didn’t look like they’d stay put at speed. Though I have to say, I’ve never thought about someone managing to toss a cigarette into the trailer and catch the shavings on fire, that’s scary!! Hmmm wonder how much it would cost me to install windows on the back doors with bars/screens instead?
