Although, given the trend towards consolidation and conglomeration in the horse industry as in other economic sectors, probably there is “Big Boot” to a degree.
Actually… In the only study that I’ve seen to date (one of the TN universities) that evaluated the horse’s skin temperature under different materials during work… Neoprene faired no worse than the various “airflow” or cool boots they tested. Both faired much better than polos.
That was unexpected to say the least!
