I’ve been following Pete’s tale. I do not know cows…but damn…it sounds like you tried so hard for him. You gave him a peaceful passing that he deserved.

I was tied up with family over the holiday.
I am sad for Pete the pet steer, I am glad he knew love, a soft and kind hand and had a gentle exit. You did the best for him and more than those cowpoke would ever do.

Been away for the holiday weekend and returned to see this. I am so sorry. That poor little thing. At least he knew he was loved and cared for and had a much nicer end than being someone’s “toy.”
