Barn Decor

@Bluey I like this! Very neat and clean looking.

This area of the barn is actually a breezeway, but occasionally it gets pressed into service for temporary horse containment. Here, for some reason, i brought everyone in from pasture for a night of lockdown. Some were sharing a big stall, some in sheds, and these three in here.) Our timberframe barn was built in 1840, and though i have a few decorative items here and there, it kinda just ‘speaks for itself’! If you look above on one of the pics you can see the wooden rocking horse and a framed pic (old Missouri Power and Light poster that we found rolled up in the barn) 206613_216218175055681_331583_n 208084_216217768389055_2690264_n

Thank you, here is a picture from the late 1950’s old race training barn backroom.
You can see that cabinet there:

Sam Savitt pictures? There are the standard horse prints with breeds, markings and gaits, but also some very nice prints. Here’s a link:

if you want “artsy photographs” invite a photography class to your place. What they “see” is funny at times.

My son who attended Brooks Institute , he had several of class mats here and those guys took a few thousand photos of the eyes of the horses

My son never really saw a horse with a horseman’s eye. He was at a big time hunter show in New York and came out with this
