For those who did not get paid in addition to living quarters and board for your horse, how did you buy groceries/household supplies? Make truck/insurance payments? Pay for things like cell phone, your computer, birthday gifts, etc.? Just curious . . .
Oh often even if you get paid in addition to those things it’s not enough to pay for that list :lol::lol::lol:
but really if you aren’t getting paid anything in addition you generally organize that job around another. While I assistant managed a barn and then ran my own out of a facility, i was also teaching at a university full time…or more than full time.
