Like much in this area - it all depends. And depending on where you live in Bethesda, you can get out to some barns within 20-30+ minutes = Avenel before Potomac, Merry-go-Round just outside of Potomac Village, several barns on Partnership - 5-10 minutes from Potomac Village, and then more heading in Poolesville and Boyds/Dickerson. A friend gets from Silver Spring to Avenel pretty regularly in about 30 mins. Again this is Covid traffic which isnt a true picture of what traffic can be like but who knows what will happen with teleworking when this COVID thing comes under more control - if ever.
