Barns in Olympia, WA?

My Dad is moving up towards the end of the year. He’s visiting in a week and a half, and is spending a couple days in Olympia (his home town) and wants to check out a some barns for his low-maintenance horse, who is coming with him

His needs:
Full-care pasture board
Safe fencing, safe environment, safe knowledgeable people.

Wants:
Wash rack
Access to trails would be nice, but he has a trailer too (he doesn’t need trailer parking, sez him)
Not to die from sticker shock

Yep, that’s it! He is a long time horse person and trail rider, but rides English. A helmet every ride, appropriate footwear, etc, so an English discipline barn would be fine. Horse has NO vices, not a jerk in the field, has lived in a group environment most/all of his life. Doesn’t like to be stalled, at all, ever. Just miserable.

Whatcha got??

I’ll send you Judy Js info. She is the stereotypical Arab lady, her and her hubbie run a beautiful farmette in Lacey by Forest Park Equestrian. Back gate opens to miles of trails. She is right off the 5 like 10 mins maybe, exit 111? Marvin./Martin Rd right past the Nisqually exit heading south.

Ask him what he thinks of Yelm too, the north end is only about 15 from Lacey.

Price? I got your message…phone number?

No one else? C’mon, help my dad make the move up here!!

Call Judy!

But what about the Yelm area?

I haven’t talked to him since I posted this

Instead of starting a new thread, I would like to piggy back (Hope the OP doesn’t mind). I just moved to Yelm, and had a horse that I was hoping would sell, but it looks like he may be making the move out here as well.

I am interested in a barn that would be a good fit for a young TB. He does great on field board, I am open to stall board as long as he gets more than a few hours of turnout. I don’t need a big show barn, but am more interested in good care, good turnout, safe facilities and low key.

If anyone knows of something that might work, please feel free to contact me.
Thanks!

I don’t mind, maybe the bump will get some more responses… My Dad went online and was not pleased with the selection he has found so far.

I saw this barn listed on the ever iconic Craigslist and thought of you, (and your Dad).

My step sister has a place, a few acres, an indoor and stalls with runs but she only does self care so I didn’t think it applied to your needs. I’m not even sure if she has vacancies. It’s called Chambers Creek.

Thanks. He found a place, now trying to arrange shipping to get him up in Oct
