I bought 2 from her a few years ago off video for lesson horses. Neither worked out to be quite what I wanted, but I wouldn’t say they were misrepresented.
Perhaps start a new thread. Many of of us are tired of reading threads that are not current.
Please, just start a new thread. Linking to the old one is fine, but it is better for most of us not to have to slog through the old posts.
You are the only one saying this. The rest who have commented (and I agree with them) seem happy to see the thread revived.
I’d rather it be one thread, keeps the history of complaints/concerns together.
Now, when a thread gets to be thousands of posts and meanders into something new, I can see the value in starting a new one.
I must be living under a rock because I live in the same area as the subject of this thread and I had no idea. I appreciated being able to read multiple accounts in one place; that it spanned over years showed me that it was a consistent pattern for this person and not a bad year or a series of (unfortunately) poor matches.
I disagree. I feel it is helpful for people to see this is not a one-off experience; instead, this seller has a decade-plus history of selling horses with questionable backgrounds.
I do know one person that bought what turned out to be a very nice lesson horse from this seller. BUT - the buyer is an extremely savvy, extremely experienced professional and the horse was a 3 or 4 year old blank slate.
So again, Caveat emptor.
So? I had an experience to share, and people really should be warned about this seller. The age of the forum doesn’t matter at all.
Just thought I would add to this “dead thread” and share that they just listed their farm for sale. In the comments they said they are moving south to somewhere warmer
