I have 6 of them coming the beginning of December in horse size. 3 Australian nut and 3 Havana. If all looks good I’ll have full stock in January 
I already have a sample in hand and it is beautiful

What’s the width on that noseband? Do you ever take custom requests for the beasts that look better with chunkier nosebands/brow bands?

This one is 1 1/4”. I do custom hunt bridles all the time. The wide flat nosebands. I have done up to 2” nosebands and here is a browband I made the other day for someone that needed a longer than stock length in a 1”‘width I make the browbands and have my manufacturer do the nosebands

I do! I call it a build a bridle (and have been offering it way before Dover 
). It’s a $25 charge to mix and match pieces.

Add me to the list of very happy Black Diamond Designs customers! I have two of Amy’s bridles–a customized, sewn-in flat hunt bridle for sidesaddle, and one of the show hunter bridles as well. I get a lot of compliments on the bridle, and I LOVE the rubber lined laced reins. I’ll be honest, I thought I would hate them, because I hate almost all rubber reins (except the Nunn Finer softgrips), but these are great. Especially when showing in bad weather they make such a difference.
Amy is great to work with if you need custom stuff too–I messaged her last weekend and will have a new, custom-made sidesaddle stirrup leather by this weekend

These bridles are very nice. I am very happy with the ones I bought. They also make great gifts. I gave one to my trainer a couple holidays ago and that one has held up to much heavier use on multiple horses than the bridles I bought for myself which have seen lighter use.

Got my Black Diamond bridle yesterday. It’s gorgeous. Beautiful dark brown leather that is supple but feels very durable. Extremely well made.
I got the show hunter bridle with a diamond noseband and rubber lined laced reins. The reins are especially nice as the rubber lining is very discreet and on the inside part of the reins. I spent the morning oiling it and am letting it sit for 24 hours. All the keepers, loops, and buckles and straps are easily adjusted. I hate when I get a new bridle with one wonky keeper or a strap that just will not slide through the fixed loop without Herculean strength. Or a keeper that slides off when the wind blows. Stitching is lovely.
Amy could not have been nicer or easier to order from. And when I changed my mind shortly, after ordering regarding the noseband, she accommodated me in an instant. Shipping was fast and it came with a Black Diamond cloth and some Effol Mango Mouth Butter (
Can’t wait to try it on my horse !

You won’t be disappointed! Amy is wonderful to deal with. I have A LOT of tack. You can’t help but accumulate after 40 years of riding. And well you know how some people get happy over shoes or clothes or jewelry? For me it is tack. I am so impressed with her and the bridle. It’s a very reasonable price for the quality.
