But since you asked about a coat:
Currently I am wearing a microfiber with a button-in fleece lining Misty Harbor (Sears brand?) jacket. Got it 4yrs go & it still looks new even though to goes to the barn art least twice a day, sometimes 3 or 4 times. “Going to the barn” means mucking stalls, emptying the wheelbarrow, toting bales of hay, scrubbing/refilling water buckets, etc.
I am The Help here for my 2 horses.
Washed it even cleans up for streetwear.
Lightweight, water-resistant in all but the worst downpours & warm as all getout even in the Polar Vortex temps we had this Winter.
I layer a cotton turtleneck under it & if I need another layer a polarfleece hoodie.
