I ordered the ShooFlys from Valley Vet for $44.95 so essentially the same price as Chicks. I added a cheap bag of treats to get free shipping.
I have seven hot pink Shoo-fly wraps out in the pasture. Somewhere. That horse is turned out by herself and doesn’t go that far from the barn or the other two horses and I have not seen hide nor hair of the wraps anywhere. Now to be fair - because of all the rain the pasture mower has not mowed since June so the pasture is really tall. But when I find them they will not be torn up. Unlike the other fly wraps she pulls off and the velcro straps get torn up. So far the Shoo Fly wraps seem to work best.
