Following up, the insurance adjuster had all the forms she needed to pay out my medical claim on August 28th. She decided to wait until the mortality claim was finished so she could send both checks together for her convenience. This, even though I’d asked for the repayment to be expedited. Legis is now stepping in to get this handled, but the adjuster is being less than communicative. I think the claim experience really depends on the adjuster you get, but I don’t know if you can request that?
