Anyone ship a saddle in 2019? Have to return an Abetta and I’m wondering what’s the cheapest way.
I shipped a full leather western saddle earlier this year through USPS. The box it fit in was the largest USPS will ship, if I remember correctly it cost me mid to upper $80s-$90 with insurance included.

Ok. Just sent it via UPS -$92.75 Calif to Texas. From my truck to the counter was about 30 feet. Guy there told me that of the three (UPS, FedEx, and USPS) he was the cheapest and I believed him because it was 98 outside.

I’ve read that it’s almost impossible to collect on usps insurance, so I don’t buy it, anymore. Don’t know about fedex, because I won’t use them after they crushed a box and then wouldn’t pay for the crushed contents, or ups.
