Best leather cleaner/conditioner?

7 years ago when I bought my CWD it came with saddle soap and conditioner. I absolutely love them both. I have since ordered a few containers of it. The conditioner creates a bit of a grip without being sticky or getting on your breeches.

I have other leather goods and saddles that I use it on and it’s great.

I also like the Higher Standards - smells good too.

Right now I need to order one or the other… I have been buying conditioners at the tack stores and haven’t found anything better than the CWD stuff even if I do like my Meyer saddle better than the CWD

Higher Standards leather soap, Effax lederbalsam conditioner.

One more vote for Higher Standards soap! I do think it’s important though to remember that we’re reporting back from all over the place - what works in my geographical area might not necessarily be the best for your own (i.e. what works in an arid climate might be horrible in a humid one). Sometimes it’s best to wander through a barn in your area, find tack that you admire, and ask what they’re using.

Castile soap. Antarès conditioner. Oil as needed. Oakwood if I feel like I need a bit of antifungal. Lanolin if something is very dry, but I want to protect the integrity.

I think everyone has a different ideal for the feel of their breaches against leather. Different leather reacts different to various things.

I think if we as a species haven’t come to the conclusion on what moisturizer works best for our skin, I find it very hard to believe we’ll ever agree on the best soap/conditioner combo for our tack.

Anyone use Chamberlain’s leather milk leather. I am thinking to buy it. It has good review on amazon. But, before placing the order I want to get some real feedback(If anyone used that).
Update: I was searching on Amazon and found a product with more than thousand reviews! And I was also checking other best leather conditioner review site like that. After reading those review I was confident with my choice! So, I have placed order of this Chamberlains leather.

VXF, I finally got around to cleaning that saddle, since the owner wants to sell it so I used the Moss Melts Away and still like it. The saddle had already been cleaned last year and sat in my house covered so it really wasn’t dirty, so maybe it wasn’t a very good test, but I was happy with the way it looked and felt. The Devoucoux is a beautiful saddle so of course it looked good but I also used it on a cheap Collegiate AP saddle and it even made that one look good as well. Both saddles are just sitting at home though, maybe if I was riding in them I would feel differently but based on appearance I would still recommend MMA.
