This is absolutely a major fit issue or error in the design of the lunge cavesson you saw used.
Unfortunately, this is a common design problem with many lunge cavessons currrently on the market. I tried a number of different ones before splurging on the Dover SRS one.
In some cases it appears that manufacturers may be making them based on what a lunge cavesson generally looks like without reference to either real horse heads or to any understanding of how the piece of equipment is correctly and safely used.
Is the spirig cavesson still in production? I couldn’t find it last night searching. Thanks for any help.
